There is something wrong with this

Apparently, Jennifer Lopez is going on her first tour.

This is the part of Hollywood that I hate.

She starts off as a dancer on In Living Color, does some other crap that sucks, dates Puffy/Diddy/P Diddy/whatever, dates Ben Affleck, stars in some movies that suck(except The Cell), marries Marc Anthony, all the while becoming more famous and is now…going on…her first…tour…ever…

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH(takes breath)AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Well, I’m going on tour next week.  I may not have People Magazine talking about how many outfits I changed into during my set, but I will be seeing some of you again.  That makes my heart smile.

See you soon.

Heima, Indiana and eleven hours in a rental car

My friend Brad Wolf, of SOTA, showed me this yesterday.  I’ve watched it a couple of times and still get chills.  I really have to see them live.

I will probably be listening to Sigur Ros the whole way to Indiana tomorrow.  11 hour drive.  Two day surgical strike in the heartland.  It’s always worth it.  Every show counts.  I’ve been learning that more and more lately.

Remember, you are a weapon.  Word of mouth is how I keep doing this thing.

I’ve been recording some of the Christmas songs you requested.  So far, Silent Night and O Holy Night are finished.  A White Stripes/Black Sabbath inspired version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and a Fleetwood Mac-ish O Come All Ye Faithful are almost done.  Can’t wait to make them available to you in December.

I’ve written a couple new songs, which I have been playing live recently.  I think I’ll record them as well.
